Our specialty-trained team provides total patient care that is tailored to the specific health requirements of the patient.
Synergies and Collaborative Network
The Center for Vascular Medicine and Venous Surgery interfaces with many other disciplines and collaborates with several other practices. For example, in the areas of lymphology, exercise for vascular disease, and gait training our physicians work in close collaboration with a physical therapy practice; interdisciplinary synergies can also be achieved with internal medicine in the context of preventive medicine (cardiology/gastroenteroloy).
Circulation disorders of the brain can cause specific and unspecific neurological symptoms. We have established close collaboration with the specialty field of neurology. When a patient complains of only vague symptoms, particularly in the legs or arms, we call on our network of collaborative practices for the benefit of our patient in the areas of orthopedics as well as neurology.
We provide support in the surgical treatment of arterial vascular diseases in close collaboration with renowned vascular surgical departments in Cologne, and, if necessary, in the broader regional area.
